Reinstate Admission
If your admission to KU was recently canceled due to nonpayment of the enrollment deposit, you must follow these steps to request that your application be reinstated. Reinstatement requests will be considered on a space available basis.

Reinstatement Instructions:
  1. Check your status online at www.admissions.ku.edu/status to determine if you have to submit the Reinstatement Form. If the admission status says "Enrollment Deposit Not Paid", then you must submit the Reinstatement Form.
  2. Print the Reinstatement Form
  3. Fill out the form and sign it
  4. Mail the reinstatement processing fee of $30 with the form to our office. Do NOT fax this form. Here is our mailing address:
             Office of Admissions & Scholarships
The University of Kansas Visitor Center
             1502 Iowa Street
             Lawrence, KS 66045
Do NOT send the enrollment deposit payment with your request for reinstatement.
  5. Processing of this request will take approximately 2 weeks
  6. Check the online status at www.admissions.ku.edu/status to determine when your admission has been reinstated. Look for "Admit" instead of "Enrollment Deposit Not Paid". You will be sent a postcard and/or an email indicating that your admission has been reinstated and the date your enrollment deposit is due.
  7. You may register for New Student Orientation after your enrollment deposit has been paid and posted to your account.
