Freshman

If you are a graduating high school senior or you have earned a high school diploma or GED and have not attended any post-secondary institution such as a college, university, community or junior college, or vocational-technical school.

Transfer

If you enrolled at any post-secondary institution after earning a high school diploma or GED. A post-secondary institution is a college, university, community or junior college, or vocational-technical school.

Readmitted student

If you previously attended the University of Kansas and would like to return to complete your education, you can apply to be readmitted.

Non-degree seeker

If you are attending another college or university and want to enroll at KU for a few courses; if you are an adult student not interested in a degree but would like to enroll in a few courses; if you want to take college-level courses while still in high school; or if you want to take undergraduate courses for graduate school or for a certification program.
