Check status allows you to check on the status of your application.

Who can use check status
- Students who submitted either a freshman, transfer, readmit, or non-degree seeking application.
- Students that submitted their application AT LEAST seven to ten days ago.
- Domestic applicants. Unfortunately, international students can not check their admissions status at this time.
- Undergraduate applicants. Graduate student information is not currently available through this page.
What you can find out
- Your KU Identification number.
- Which transcripts our office has received and when they arrived in our office. Unfortunately, college transcripts for freshman applicants can not be viewed using this system.
- The admissions status of your application (accept, denied, incomplete, etc.). There is no information about scholarships awarded.
- What standardized test scores have been received and the dates the tests were taken.
How to check
Using the system is easy, you just need to enter your Last Name, First Initial, Date of Birth, and Social Security Number.
Only students who provided a Social Security Number may use this service.
Application Information
This section displays information about a student's application like KUID number (Student ID), Name, Date of Birth, and Address. If any of this information appears incorrectly, please contact the Office of Admissions and Scholarships to change it.
Applications Submitted
This section explains which type of application was submitted (Freshman, Transfer or Readmit).
It also shows the date the application was made (either postmarked date on the application or date the application was successfully completed on-line).
The Applications Submitted section also shows the Academic Program and Major that the applicant indicated on their application. Please contact the Office of Admissions and Scholarships if this information is incorrect or needs to be changed.
Supporting Documents Received
This section shows which standardized test scores have been submitted to the University of Kansas, the dates the tests were taken, and the date KU received them. Scores will not be shown for confidentiality reasons.
Also shown in this section is which transcripts the university has received and what form they took (official or unofficial). Multiple transcripts from the same school will be listed seperately, the dates of attendance is listed to help clarify which transcript is on file with the Office of Admissions and Scholarships. Additionally, the type of transcript received is listed (work in progress, final, etc.). You can click on the transcript type to learn more about what it means when you view your record using this system. Finally, the date the transcript was received in our office is displayed.
