Frequently Asked Questions
I sent my transcript and it does not appear on the system, now what?
You need to allow four to six weeks from the time that a transcript has been sent (not requested) to arrive in our office and be added to the system. If it has been longer than six weeks since your school sent the transcript then you should contact your school to verify that it was indeed sent to our office and to the appropriate address. If you can confirm it was sent more than six weeks ago but not received contact the Office of Admissions and Scholarships for more information.

Can I use this system to find out my KU ID number?
Yes, it is listed under Student ID.

If information appears to be incorrect, how can I notify KU about making the necessary changes?
We can change any information that appears to be inaccurate but only if the student can provide any necessary documentation that might be required. Contact the Office of Admissions and Scholarships for more information.

Who can use this system?
Only undergraduate, domestic applicants to KU can use this system right now.

Are there options for students that have been denied admission to KU?
Yes, through submitting a formal appeal to the Faculty Appeals Committee. Contact the Office of Admissions and Scholarships for more information. The Faculty Appeals Committee only reviews denied students applying to the College of Liberal Arts and Sciences. Remember, students can be denied to a Professional School (Engineering, Fine Arts, Architecture and Urban Design) at KU but admitted to the College of Liberal Arts and Sciences only if the student has indicated they would like to be considered for multiple schools.

I am a high school student but I have college coursework, can I use this system to see if KU has received my college transcripts?
Unfortunately, at this time college transcripts for freshman applicants are not available. Please confirm with the college or university that the transcripts have been sent and contact the Office of Admissions and Scholarships to learn if they have arrived.
