Multicultural Visit Day for High School Students
This program offered in the spring, will give students and their families a head start in the college search process.
Participants will receive all the information they need to prepare for college along with information about resources
and opportunities for students of color.
When will it be?
Multicultural Visit Day for High School Students will be on Friday, February 9.
On-line registration will be available in mid January.
Why Come to Multicultural Visit Day For High School Students?
It is never too early to start preparing for college! At Multicultural Visit Day for High School students,
you will get all the information you need to make the right decisions about college.
You will also learn about all the multicultural opportunities and resources available to help you succeed
and to make the most of your KU experience.
What will I do during my visit?
Multicultural Visit Day for High School Students will focus on resources and opportunities for multicultural students.
Students will visit with representatives from academic and student service departments and some of KU's
multicultural student organizations. The Office of Multicultural Affairs will also speak with students about the
many programs and resources available at KU. This program also includes lunch at Mrs. E’s,
a campus tour and a tour of a residence or scholarship hall.
How do I register?
Registration for the Multicultural Visit Day for High School Students will be available in early spring semester.
There is a small fee and online pre-registration is required. All students
must register separately. All registrations are accepted on a space-available basis.
