Multicultural Visit Programs
Are you interested in learning about special resources and opportunities for students of color and students who are the first in their family to attend college? Then come to KU’s Multicultural Visit Days! Get acquainted with KU’s multicultural resources and student organizations. Discover a university with first-class academics and the resources you need to succeed.

Multicultural Visit Day for Seniors
This program, offered in the fall, gives multicultural high-school seniors and their guests the opportunity to visit campus, learn about the multicultural resources and programs available at KU and speak with staff representatives from various academic departments as well as ethnic student organizations. A campus tour, discussions with staff and faculty and lunch at Ekdahl Dining Commons (Mrs.E’s) are included.

Multicultural Visit Day for High School Students
Students in high school are invited to explore what KU offers to students of color through our many multicultural resources and programs. Students will meet staff and faculty of color as well as ethnic student organizations. A campus tour, scholarship hall tour and lunch at Ekdahl Dining Commons (Mrs.E’s) are included during this visit.

Super Saturday
Students in grades 6 through 9 can bring their families to see the fun side of KU. Participants will experience a day of games and interactive activities. Learn about the many resources and opportunities for students of color and students who are the first in their family to attend college. Have lunch at KU’s award winning Ekdahl Dining Commons (Mrs.E’s) and tour campus the fun and wacky way (Scavenger Hunt through Jayhawk Blvd.). Bilingual personnel will be on hand for Spanish speaking families.

Multicultural Road Show Receptions
In January, KU will be hosting evening receptions in Wichita, Kansas City and Topeka.
Admissions counselors and other KU representatives will be visiting
churches and other community organizations during the day and hosting early receptions for
prospective students, parents and guests.
Receptions include a fun look at student life at KU and a chance to meet with KU students and staff.
All high school students and their families are invited to attend.
