Who should attend?
Any multicultural high school senior with an interest in multicultural
resources and opportunities and their families should attend. All
multicultural students are also invited to attend regular Senior Days
that will focus on academic opportunities.
Why come to Multicultural Visit Day for Seniors?
You'll get the benefits of a senior day plus information about support
services, student organizations, campus offices, and other multicultural
resources. This is a great opportunity to learn how KU can support you
as a student and help you succeed. High school seniors who cannot attend
this special senior day are encouraged to attend another Senior Day
program. There is a small fee and online pre-registration is required.
All seniors must register separately. All registrations are accepted on
a space-available basis.
What will I do during my visit?
Unlike all other Senior Days, the Multicultural Visit Day for Seniors
will focus on resources and opportunities for multicultural students.
Students will visit with representatives from academic and student
service departments as well as visit with multicultural student
organizations. The Office of Multicultural Affairs will also speak with
students about the many programs and resources available to help them
succeed. This program also includes lunch at Mrs. E's, a campus tour and
a tour of a residence or scholarship hall.
