Who is invited?
KU not only invites all high school juniors to attend, but also highly encourages parents/guardians of these students to come as well. We will provide our visitors with several valuable pieces of KU specific information and the more family members present to hear the information the better.
Why come to a Junior Day?
It is never too early to begin visiting colleges and universities. High school juniors are encouraged to visit KU by attending a Junior Day program. There is a small fee and pre-registration is required. All juniors must register separately, and all registrations are accepted on a space-available basis.
What will I do during my visit?
This spring, students and parents/guardians will be treated to a comprehensive introduction to
KU and the KU campus. Visitors will spend most of the day touring the campus.
Admissions representatives will cover academics, student life
and other information unique to KU. We will also offer a session on preparing for your senior
year of high school.
Participants will also have the opportunity gather academic information and get answers to their
questions from representatives of academic departments at KU. There will also be an information
fair with representatives from several support services and campus departments including the
Office of Student Financial Aid, the Office of Multicultural Affairs, and the Student
Involvement and Leadership Center.
How do I register?
You may expect to register for Multicultural Junior Day 2008 beginning mid-January 2008.
Where do I check-in?
Check-in for Junior Days is at the Kansas Union. A map and parking pass will be mailed after registration.
