Transfer Visit Day

This program, offered in fall and early spring, gives students who plan to transfer to KU and their guests an opportunity to visit campus and get information about deadlines, resources, and opportunities at a visit designed especially for students with college experience.

Who should attend

Transfer students are those students who enter KU after attending another college or university or a community college following graduation from high school. Any student who is interested in transferring to KU within the next 12 months and their guests will benefit from this program. (Students planning further in advance are also welcome, but timelines will be specific to 2010 terms.) There is a small fee, pre-registration is required; all transfer students must register separately. All registrations are accepted on a space-available basis.

What will I do during my visit?

You will have plenty of choices at KU's Transfer Student Visit Day program. Each Transfer Student Visit Day includes academic/support services information sessions provided by University staff and faculty members; a student panel or student-led campus tour; general information about transfer of credit; a catered lunch at the Kansas Union, and an optional on-campus housing tour.

How do I register?

We are no longer accepting registrations for this event. If you would like to visit campus soon, you may register for Jayhawk Days.

Where do I check-in?

Check-in for Transfer Student Visit Day is at the Kansas Union on the main campus. A parking pass for the parking garage located north of the Kansas Union will be mailed in your confirmation packet along with driving directions to the garage.
