What is a TRIO/GEAR UP Visit Day?
Spring semester TRIO Visit Days are for TRIO students and students participating in similar programs in grades 9-11.
These visit days will give students the chance to learn about the college search process,
applying for admission, scholarships, housing and more! The services the University of Kansas
offers TRIO students will also be highlighted.

Who Should Attend? High school students grades 9-11 in TRIO funded programs such as the Educational Opportunity Center, LULAC, Project Discovery, Supportive Educational Services, Talent Search, Upward Bound, and Gear Up, are highly encouraged to visit our campus as a group on a spring TRIO/GEAR UP Visit Day. |
| Why should I attend a TRIO/GEAR UP Visit Day? These visit days will help students learn about the college search process and how to prepare for it -- from taking the right classes in high school to applying early for admission, scholarships, and financial aid. We will show you that college (and KU) is possible! |
